Chapter 1: Battle of Azrian

Calcifer heard a loud crash,she went to grab her bottle but realized she had left it down stairs.She stood up and bolted down to go grab it,when she made it down there she looked and saw what seemed to be sachieal.He had wings and looked as if he had gotten hurt.
"Sachieal is that you?" she asked worriedly.

Sachieal found Calcifer and looked at her with pure fear in his eyes. "Calcifer! Thank the Lord that I found you. We need to get Origin and the others and get out of here." He ran to her and placed his hand on her shoulder. "I don't have much time to explain, but there is a magic in place here that can kill us all, maybe worse."

Sachieal began searcing rooms.

"Everyone out! We've got to go. NOW."

Vasquiri lifted into the air, grabbing more soldiers from the field, lifting them dazed and confused, depositing them one after another without hesitation. He recieved many a confused strike to his arms because of the abruptness of the abductions, but each one thanked him as they saw the approaching black. By now the rest of the soldiers were aware of the creeping void, and were scrambling back away from it. Vasquiri felt an overwhelming sense of panic. What sort of being would do sucha thing?



Her would was bandaged now, after she'd calmed dow nand let the girl mend it. She didnt mind women, they tended to have all the same parts, and be more gentle. She couldnt stand the thought of a male poking around on her body. She shuddered, then shot up in the bed when the sudden commotion started. What was going on?! She felt a creeping sickness, albeit far away. Perhaps the battle was not goin in their favor?

Calcifier rushed from the room, and Origin searhed around for something to prop herself on. She saw a broom laying across the room.

She bravely rolled onto the floor, nursing her ailing hip and crawled across on three limbs, her injured leg trailing behind. SHe had to be careful or all of the work Calcifer had just done would be for naught. After what seemed like forever she reached the broom, and used the wall to climb back to a standing position. SHe leaned on it, the wooden handle resting stably on the floor. Satisfied, she limped out into the hallway, and was greeted with utter chaos.

Ran upstairs as fast as she could and went straight for orgins room.
"Orgin,Sachieal says we have to leave now.I hope you dont mind water..."
As she said this she moved her hands briskly and all the water came out of her bottle.within seconds it formed into a giant dragon.it barley fit into the somewhat large room.This one was not only big but could fly.Calcifer instucted it to go outside and wait by the window.as she ran for the window and opend it she told orgin to grab any to get there attention and to tell them to go to the window.The dragon could hold atleast 10 people.After she opend the window she went back to get orgin and make sure she was first on the dragon.

Sachieal grabbed two of the weakest from the infermary as the rest boarded the water dragon that Calcifer had created. It was a saving grace that she was able to create such an amazing creature from just water.

He yelled orders toward the others. "Anyone who can walk, help those who can't to get outside the city walls. If you can, spread the word to anyone you see." He rushed outside, narrowly avoiding the others rushing outside. The dark hole was growing larger by the second.

Sachieal took flight and hovered next to the water dragon. He found the others on it, ready to go.

Calcifer walked into the hallway to see if anyone else needed help.she turned to sachieal"where can we go...im not used to this area...."

Sachieal found Calcifer at loss for direction. "Let's get outside the city walls, we'll drop off the wounded there. We should be able to see the walls from the sky."

"ok.Wait...never mind you have wings."she said quickly before turning and looking in rooms to make sure every one was out then heading back twards the window to the dragon,Before she left she turned back to sachieal."when we are there can you update me?"

Sachieal flapped his wings. "Yeah, I'll explain just about everything you want to know once we get out of here." He readied his passengers, making sure they wouldn't fall out of his grasp mid-flight. "But for now, let's just leave this place."

Calcifer nodded and jumped out the window and with that the dragon left off.
She looked back at all the people to make sure they where ok.She looked around and saw the city walls.She didnt dare think about the trouble that was going on..nor the battle.she just continued to look at there destination.

Soraya’s blast hit Odei with full force, sending him streaking down into the bottomless pit below. Heart beating fast, Soraya braced herself for a counter strike, cautiously watching the black sea for signs of Odei or his own flames streaking up to meet her, but none came. A few moments later and the Abbadon was still followed with a strange silence, when all of a sudden the hole, the shadows, the black mist, the Umbri and Abaddon flaked away into nothing, returning the scene to what it was, only now where there was Abbadon’s touched, it was barren of life and sound.

The surviving Lieutenant struggled to his feet, blood running down his face. Disoriented and panicked he ran alongside the hill over looking the field, studying the damages and searching for his men, halting only as Soraya came to land at his side, wings dematerializing like smoke, her skin seemingly even more pale than before and a blank look on her face.

“You’ve got him, Soraya! He was a Surdan, wasn’t he? And on THEIR side?” He rasped incredulously, rage burning within; a warlock with the honor of wielding such ancient art, and yet dishonors it by joining the godforsaken Lumerian? Disgraceful. The betrayer deserved his death.

“He’s not dead, Hivaro…” she answered, eyes scanning the field for signs of Odei but he still was nowhere to be found. She knew her blow was not that strong to kill him.. “We should retreat.” And much unlike the old, scarred Lieutenant, Hivaro signaled the retreat without discussion or a second thought… they still heavily outnumbered the Azerians and Yeidin and if fought back now, they might stand a chance at winning, but non of them were prepared for what had just passed, and did not want to risk losing more men if should the crazed warlock return.

A second later and the warlocks sent out their signals, blue flags were raised and the blare of horns echoed in the air, their comrades answering to the call and rushed away from the battlefield.

The Lumerians and the Alliance had won.
