Oh it's not a military action? Okay.
Supination and pronation sound so much more badass, then what they really are.
Not that I don't think the articulation of our wrists and thumbs isn't pretty awesome. I wouldn't give it up for sure, but still... it reminds me of a coup d'état or something.
Oh wells. *goes back to drawing bones in pronation instead of procrastinating*

You have a point. I think it says something of the power that we put into our language. In one way, I see it as a metaphore describing how we place excessive power on something so insignificant as a word, as all words die out more or less after they are said. There's something to be said, however of how words can live forever if someone gives them the power to do so.
....Don't know where that came from....

I get the funness of learning the names and parts of the bones of the skeleton, labeling them all plus some processes, etc.
Then!
I get to draw them all as a skeleton from memory in three different views. All in three hours.
It'll be super fun, I can't wait for that test.
And pshaw, I'm sure you'll pass, just gotta study! As fun as that is.

This is why the Legal studies are the win. Memorization is evil I say. IT IS THE WORK OF THE DEVIL AND MUST BE BURNED!

Hey now, what would you do without us allowing you to sue every possible living thing imaginable? Hard work, that's what.
And no one likes hard work.

Re: Oh it's not a military action? Okay.
I'm currently studying law. We've never had to memorize a single thing. Most of all our provisions and such are kept in a GOD AWFUL HUGE binder.
Damn thing must weigh a good fifty pounds too....
And I've never seen someone use a lawnmower as a hedge trimmer, but if I did.... I'd cry.

I'm still trying to figure out the logistics of lifting up a lawnmower and angling the blades to trim the bushes.
It doesn't seem like the safest idea to me....

Re: Oh it's not a military action? Okay.
if you ever see a warning on common machinery that lookes stupid, its usually because there used to not be one that specific, but some idiot did it, sued for a bumload of money and won.
other warnings
Do not take suppositories orally
Do not slide on smooth surfaces while wearing socks
Do not use knife to wedge items out of electrical sockets

I saw one on a knife that read "Keep out of children."
I'm sure it meant "Keep out of reach of children." but I ROFL'd anyway.

Re: Oh it's not a military action? Okay.
Haha... u guys r funny I had to go through the whole anatomia artistica in academy and draw every damn fibre in a human's body. I didn't enjoy it. Esp. since i knew i'd forget it all within a year, and did. Unless if i'm drawing dead ppl blown to bits, why would i need to go into such deep detail? skeletal build and muscles r enough to understand how to draw a body, and the rest is practice practice practice.
Though I DID enjoy the trip to a hospital where we were taken to a study hall filled with mummified bodies and such for learning, that was eerie.
As for u Erin, I have no fear of blood slime bits of whatever - but it's inflicting the pain I can't do. I can pick up a peice of bloody raw meat... but cannot help with sticking an earring through someone's ear when it won't go through.
By the way, Taiki - ur studying law? HOW do u have the time to RP then????

Well, if I told my secret, I do believe I'd be in a tad bit of trouble~
Lets just say I have a very nice opprotunity to learn things well ahead of when I should.

Of course! If everything were literal, there'd be no point in deciphering things.
